Timelines

Timelines compresses space as well as time through the use of pinhole photography: Covering distances from 1/4 mile onwards, the human eye's perception exists within these images as layers of palimpsests to be merged and covered by a continuous stream of visual information, eventually forming the finished entity: one photograph.

In Timelines, the traditional roles of photograph and caption are reversed: the images form the 'looser' element, but yet contain everything the more concise captions describe -and much more.
