Mirage is a two-minute film combining low tech imagery (a Fisher Price Pixelvision 2000 camcorder) with a somewhat higher tech sound track. The word mirage stands for illusion or deception but also happens to be the name of a dynasty of fighter planes. While maintaining deceptively meditative imagery throughout, the soundtrack changes from peaceful spaces inhabited by humans to a cacophony of aggression led by the machinery of war.
